ITEM DESCRIPTION:

Being offered for sale is the LARGE, RUBY RED 'CUT-TO-CLEAR' CRYSTAL LIDDED GOBLET / COVERED PEDESTAL JAR signed "BARTHMANN", dated "1978" and numbered "100/53" (all hand-etched near base, see 3rd pic), as seen in the pictures/as described in the title. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES. Being offered for sale as-found, uncleaned. May require a thorough detailing to bring to its full potential.

CONDITION NOTES:

One chip at inner lip (see blue arrows in pictures 7, 8 & 9). Otherwise Very Good/VG+ condition with just minor cosmetic wear throughout (i.e. tiny scuffs, scratches, stains, etc.) but we see NO additional breaks or repairs. Top/lid may or may not be original to the goblet. The previous owner swears it is but something feels off about it. It does not fit as well as one would think. When carefully placed, it rests even atop the goblet rim and looks lovely but the slightest touch causes it to slide off the rim and becomes crooked (which just doesn't seem quite right to us). Also, we are not sure the lid's pattern matches the goblet's pattern. But again, it displays beautifully regardless and there's always the possibility that we are wrong. See pics.

DIMENSIONS & WEIGHT:

Measures 16-1/2" tall, lidded and 11" tall, base to lip. Outer edge of lip is 4-3/4" diameter. Total weight is 4 lbs. 0.5 oz..
