ITEM DESCRIPTION:

Being offered for sale is the antique WHIMSY / PUZZLE / FOLK IN A BOTTLE ("JOHN PUSSTAI SALOON" (see 2nd picture for more info) with 'Find The Hidden Man' (see 2nd for more info & 8th picture for close-up)) by CARL WORNER (unsigned but our research has us 99.999% sure - please feel free to message us to weigh in on its authenticity and/or with any/all information you'd care to share...this would be greatly appreciated), circa the early 20th century (Worner is believed to have produced these in the United States from 1900-1919 - see http://sdjones.net/FolkArt/worner.html for more about Carl Worner & his works), as seen in the pictures/as described in the title. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES. Being offered for sale as-found, uncleaned. May require a thorough detailing to bring to its full potential. SATISFACTION GUARANTEED or your money back...no questions asked!

CONDITION NOTES:

Very Good/VG+ antique condition with just minor -to- moderate cosmetic wear throughout (i.e. scuffs, scratches, stains, dings, dents, etc.) but NO major breaks or repairs. Bottle lip has a small chip (see 6th pic). Bottle body has many small, medium & large air bubbles stemming from the blowing process - they are NOT damage. The clear glass is just slightly hazy (meaning, it's not quite perfectly clear, which is typical of 19th century bottles). Some dirt/dust trapped within bottle, mostly just at bottom. Saloon scene has very little, if any color fading and NO broken pieces. However, the vertical stick/board, at backside has broken free from the bottle (glue residue visible at both wood & glass, see pics 7 & 12), so it does wobble a little when handled/tilted - but not hard enough to fear damaging the scene within (unless you were to violently shake it for an extended period of time...just don't do that). PLEASE REVIEW ALL PICTURES SLOWLY & CAREFULLY. ZOOM-IN AND INSPECT THOROUGHLY.

DIMENSIONS & WEIGHT:

Measures 11-1/4" tall, overall. Bottle is 10-3/8" tall, base to lip x 4-1/16" wide, at base x 2-3/8" deep, at base. Total weight is 1 lb. 6.6 oz..

PLEASE NOTEThe inflated shipping cost for this item is to help offset the high price of insuring the package at full purchase price. Please take this into consideration and work it into your offer(s).
