1 In stock

Copper Can

ITEM DESCRIPTION:

Being offered for sale is the antique COPPER WATERING JUG / WATER CAN / DOUBLE-HANDLED, PRIMITIVE VESSEL by unknown maker (no visible maker's mark(s) - best guess, French or English origin), from circa the late 19th or early 20th century (best guess), as seen in the pictures/as described in the title. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES. Being offered for sale as-found, uncleaned. May require a thorough detailing to bring to its full potential.

SATISFACTION GUARANTEED or your money back...no questions asked!

CONDITION NOTES:

Pretty rough, "display only" or parts/repair piece. Both handles have damage and remain fragile. They will break if not handled with care. Multiple dings, dents, scuffs, scratches, etc. Bottom ring is loose and doesn't sit quite right, no matter how much you spin it. We see no holes but still, may or may not even hold liquids without leaking (there's a seam near the bottom that looks a little suspect). The saving grace is its brilliant, rich patina throughout and its still beautiful design and eye-appeal. Great conversation and/or decor piece!! See pics.

DIMENSIONS & WEIGHT:

Measures 11" diameter at outer edge of base & 8-1/4" diameter at outer edge of top x 8-3/8" tall, excluding handle. Weighs 6 lbs. 1.5 oz..
