Surveying Equipment

ITEM DESCRIPTION:

Being offered for sale is the antique HAND-HELD TELESCOPE by unknown manufacturer (no visible maker's mark(s)), from circa the late 19th or early 20th century (best guess), as seen in the pictures/as described in the title. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES. Being offered for sale as-found, uncleaned. May require a thorough detailing to bring to its full potential.

SATISFACTION GUARANTEED or your money back...no questions asked!

CONDITION NOTES:

OUTER EDGE OF EYEPIECE HAS A SIZABLE DING - SEE PICTURES.

We are NOT experts on these ...it looks to be fully functional (clear sight thru & thru, graduations (0-90 on the lens and 5-50 mm on the steel) are clearly visible on both the reticle and the incised steel bar (visible thru a "peak-hole" thru the shaft), adjustment knob twists smooth & works like-new) and in Very Good/VG+ cosmetic condition. All we see is minor -to- moderate overall cosmetic wear from normal use over the years. We see NO major defects, breaks or repairs. The vast majority of the original black japanning remains but there are areas of wear, with exposed brass. Features outstanding patina throughout. See pics.

DIMENSIONS & WEIGHT:

Measures 5" long, when fully retracted x approx. 1-3/8" diameter. Please see ruler in pictures for size/scale reference. Additional measurements shall be provided upon request.

Weighs 1 lb. 0.6 oz..
