Faucet
Being offered for sale is the antique BRASS, DOUBLE-ARM, ARTICULATED POT FILLER FAUCET by unknown maker (no visible maker's mark(s)) from circa the early 20th century (best guess), as seen in the pictures/as described in the title. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES. Being offered for sale AS-FOUND, uncleaned. May require a thorough detailing to bring to its full potential. SATISFACTION GUARANTEED or your money back...no questions asked!
CONDITION NOTES:
Good/VG antique condition with minor -to- moderate overall wear throughout (i.e. scuffs, scratches, stains, dings, dents, mineral deposit build-up, etc.) but NO breaks or repairs. Both rotation points adjust smoothly, with ease and hold still at any/all position with perfectly firm pressure. The tin spigot cover is pretty dinged/dented up but remains securely attached (on there good but loosely, so it spins freely, 360 degrees). Flow knob is very tight (like, pliers-needed tight - would be need to be worked back and forth many times and/or oiled to loosen it up enough for practical/frequent use). Untested. May have blockages and clogged parts/areas.What remains of the very old silver paint continues to flake off when handled, exposing more and more of the wonderfully patinaed brass underneath. All-in-all, an extraordinary salvaged pot filler faucet!! See pics.
DIMENSIONS & WEIGHT:
Measures 22" long, overall, when fully extended. Inner edge of threads measures 19/32" (using digital calipers). Weighs 1 lb. 4.0 oz..
