Being offered for sale is the antique "CORNELIUS & CO." HURRICANE GAS LAMP converted into a CEILING HUNG CHANDELIER LIGHT FIXTURE with FLORAL MOTIF GLASS SHADE (full original assembly may or may not be present (see pictures for all parts/pieces included) and is most likely not shown correctly assembled in the pictures - we put it together the best we could figure but something seems off), from circa 1849 (as per patent date of "July 24, 1849" on tag), as seen in the pictures/as described in the title. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES. Being offered for sale AS-FOUND, uncleaned. May require a thorough detailing to bring to their full potential.

CONDITION NOTES:
Overall, Very Good/VG+ antique condition with minor -to- moderate overall cosmetic wear but we so NO major breaks or repairs. NO chips, cracks or other damage to either glass shades. Lowering mechanism works but is a bit 'choppy' due to twists in the chain and could probably benefit from a fresh oiling. Oil lamp housing has some dings & dents. Wick present and adjustment knob works like-new. Metal frame may have minor bends and/or may need slight tweaking. Again, the full original assembly may or may not be present (see pictures for all parts/pieces included) and is most likely not shown correctly assembled in the pictures - we put it together the best we could figure but something seems off. See pics.

As shown in pictures, measures approximately 34" tall, overall. Glass shade is 15" diameter. Total weight 9 lbs. 3.0 oz..
