Being offered for sale is the vintage, "CRAFTSMAN" DOUBLE BIT AXE (Narrow Michigan Pattern) with OLD (if not original) SOLID WOOD HANDLE from circa the early -to- mid 20th century (best educated guess), as seen in the pictures/as described in the title. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES. Being offered for sale as-found, uncleaned. May require a thorough detailing to bring to its full potential.

CONDITION NOTES:

Very Good/VG+ vintage/antique condition with minor -to- moderate overall wear throughout but NO major breaks or repairs. Very little zero rust and virtually zero pitting throughout. Faint remnants of original/old green japanning remains. Blades are quite smooth and remains very sharp. Handle looks to be original or otherwise very old. It has some gouges near butt (8th pic) and a cosmetic-only split near head (7th pic) but otherwise is in excellent shape and features great patina throughout. It is locked into head nice & tight with ZERO play/wobble. Fantastic example! Ready to use or proudly display!! See pics.

Measures 34-1/4" long, overall. Axe head is 10" wide x 2-3/4" tall (at center-point) x 1" deep/thick. Blade edges are approx. 4-3/4" long. Total weight is 4 lbs. 4.0 oz..
