Being offered for sale is the vintage MICROSCOPE BASE/PART and/or PRECISION LEVELING TOOL/PART (is not clear to us what this piece is used for - POSSIBLY HOMEMADE FOR A VERY SPECIFIC PURPOSE? - please feel free to inform us) by unknown manufacture (no visible maker's mark(s)), from circa the mid -to- late 20th century (best guess), as seen in the pictures/as described in the title. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES. Being offered for sale as-found, uncleaned. May require a thorough detailing to bring to its full potential.

CONDITION NOTES:

* LOOKS TO BE IN FULLY FUNCTIONAL, VERY GOOD USED CONDITION WITH NO BREAKS OR REPAIRS.

* BRASS PART AT TOP-CENTER HAS SLOPPY GLUE, LEADING US TO BELIEVE THIS WAS ADDED BY THE PREVIOUS OWNER - SEE PICS.

* LINE OF SIGHT IS CLEAR & UNOBSTRUCTED FROM EYEPIECE AT SIDE, TO MIRROR AT CENTER, WHICH POINTS DOWNARD.

* ALL 3 LEVELLING KNOBS/FEET ADJUST SMOOTH, LIKE-NEW.

* LEVEL BUBBLE IS PRESENT, LIKE-NEW.

* 3 SPOTS OF VERY HARD GLUE-RESIDUE AT BASE - WAS CLEARLY REMOVED FROM ANOTHER PART/PIECE PRIOR TO US FINDING IT.

* SEE ALL PICTURES.
