ITEM DESCRIPTION:

Being offered for sale is the vintage GERMAN BOY SCOUTS KNIFE No. 420 (see  w/ Original Scabbard "G.C. CO. SOLINGEN" by unknown maker (no visible maker's mark(s)) from circa the late 19th or early 20th century (best guess), as seen in the pictures/as described in the title. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES. Being offered for sale as-found, uncleaned. May require a thorough detailing to bring to its full potential.

SATISFACTION GUARANTEED or your money back...no questions asked!

CONDITION NOTES:

Good/Very Good antique condition with moderate overall wear (pitting, rust, worn/fragile/broken scabbard strap, etc.) but we see NO major breaks or repairs. Solid & strong. Feels awesome in hand! Blade remains quite sharp. "Locks" into original scabbard very nicely, dare I say, like-new. Again, leather snap-button strap is broken and fragile...BUT sheath holds it in place adequately. The rest of the leather loop remains strong, so just a replacement snap button strap would complete it. Entire piece features superb patina to all material throughout. All-in-all, a very nice example!! See pics.

DIMENSIONS & WEIGHT:

Measures 9-1/2" long, overall. Blade is 5-1/2" long (tip -to- guard) x 1" wide.

Total weight is 9.6 oz..
