Jacks & Jack Stands

ITEM DESCRIPTION:

Being offered for sale is the VERY RARE antique ALL CAST IRON JACK/LIFT (our best guess is for wagons/buggies/carriages but since we can not find a single thing about this tool nor its maker, we are not 100% what its intended use is - please feel free to message us with any information you may have) embossed "R. HARRIS HACKENSACK N.J." and "NO. 1" and "PATD. MAY 15, 1888", from circa the late 19th or early 20th century (best guess based on 1888 patent date), as seen in the pictures/as described in the title. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES. Being offered for sale as-found, uncleaned. May require a thorough detailing to bring to its full potential.

SATISFACTION GUARANTEED or your money back...no questions asked!

CONDITION NOTES:

* MODERATE OVERALL WEAR, AS TO BE EXPECTED FOR ITS AGE BUT REMAINS FUNCTIONAL AND SEEMINGLY WORKS GREAT (we didn't actually lift a wagon up but it tested good using manual pressure)

* SEVERE RUST THROUGHOUT.

* LEGS ARE OUT-OF-SQUARE - TWO OF THEM ARE QUITE BENT AND THE OTHER TWO LOOK SLIGHTLY WACKY. LIFT REMAINS STEADY ON A STABLE BASE BUT DOES NOT SIT PERFECTLY FLAT - SMALL WOBBLE ON THE DIAGONAL.

* SEE PICS.

DIMENSIONS & WEIGHT:

Measures approx. 20" tall, when at lowest position and 29" tall, when at highest position (approx. 9" lift range) x 17" wide, at base x 13-1/2" deep, at base. Interior edge of lift-arc is 14-3/4" wide x 6" tall/deep.
