Being offered for sale is the antique JAMES SWAN CHISEL (lightly incised, partial maker's mark - see pics), from circa the late 19th or early 20th century (company years; 1877-1951), as seen in the pictures/as described in the title. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES. Being offered for sale lightly cleaned/spruced up (just enough to see marking(s)) but a thorough detailing/restoration may be required to bring to its full potential. Ready to use or proudly display!

CONDITION NOTES:

Good/Very Good antique condition with minor -to- moderate overall wear throughout from normal use over the years but we see NO breaks or repairs. Blade edge is smooth/nick-free but is on the dull side of sharp (see pics).  Fully functional tool, ready to use or display! See pics.

 

DIMENSIONS & WEIGHT:

Measures 11-3/8" long, overall. Blade has 8-1/4" of sharpening life left. Blade is 3/8" wide.
