ITEM DESCRIPTION:

Being offered for sale is the antique PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPH and *BROKEN* ORIGINAL MAHOGANY FRAME (glass is original and in good shape - the frame looks to be salvageable in the care of a skilled craftsman) from circa the mid -to- late 19th century (best guess), as seen in the pictures/as described in the title. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES. Being offered for sale as-found, uncleaned. May require a thorough detailing to bring to its full potential.

CONDITION NOTES:

FRAME IS BROKEN (looks to be salvageable in the hands of a skilled craftsman). Glass is original (crude edges) and in good shape. Original paper backing, where personalized, is missing pieces and is extremely fragile! It WILL continue to flake at the lightest of touches. We cut a thick cardboard backing to help reduce the risk. Be sure to handle with care when opening. Photograph itself is in pretty darn good condition with just few and minor cosmetic blemishes (mainly at edges). See pics.
