Being offered for sale is the antique QUICK-ADJUST (spring loaded jaws with sliding wedge design), NUT/PIPE WRENCH (with spelling error stamping that reads "PATTENED" (instead of 'PATENTED'), see 3rd pic) No. 11 (embossed at one side, see pics) by VANDERGRIFT MANUFACTURING COMPANY of Shelbyville, IN, circa 1891 (as per patent number 444,171, granted on Jan. 6, 1891), as seen in the pictures/as described in the title. Very Good/VG+ antique condition with just minor overall wear (small dings, dents, scuffs, scratches, stains, etc.) throughout from normal use over the years but NO breaks or repairs. Fully functional tool. Works like-new! Features extraordinary, ultra rich patina throughout. Outstanding example of a hard to find wrench!! See pics.
