Being offered for sale is the vintage HOMEMADE MICROSCOPE / THEODOLITE (looks like a mishmash of parts) by unknown manufacturer(s) (no visible maker's mark(s)), from circa the early -to- mid 20th century (best guess), as seen in the pictures/as described in the title. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES. Being offered for sale as-found, uncleaned. May require a thorough detailing to bring to its full potential.

May or may not be fully functional. May or may not be missing and/or have broken parts/pieces. We see no breaks or repairs but can not say for sure. Solid, very strong construction. Rotates smooth on the wheel. All knobs are present and work. Features outstanding patina throughout. See pics.

 

DIMENSIONS & WEIGHT:

Measures 15-1/4" tall, when at its tallest. Scope is 6-3/4" long, with a 1-7/8" diameter lens. Wheel is 8" diameter. Base is 11" deep.
