Wrenches

Being offered for sale is the antique BILLINGS & SPENCER CO. "LOWES PATENT" (Apr. 10, 1894 patent date) ADJUSTABLE WRENCH (with quick-adjust lever) from circa the late 19th or early 20th century (as per patent date), as seen in the pictures/as described in the title. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR CONDITION NOTES. Being offered for sale AS-FOUND, uncleaned. May require a thorough detailing to bring to its full potential. SATISFACTION GUARANTEED or your money back...no questions asked!

Fair/Good antique condition. Minor to moderate pitting throughout. Works but knob twists a bit tight. The jaws are a bit chewed-up and do not close flush (see 3rd pic for the closest they get). Maker's mark is visible enough to identify but about half of it has worn away (see 2nd pic). Measurement graduations on shaft are also visible enough to see but slightly faded. This wrench is perfect for display/collecting purposes but less than ideal for actual practical use. All-in-all, a good example of a very hard to find antique wrench!! See pics.

Measures 5" long (when jaws are closed) and jaws open 1-1/8" max. Weighs 9.6 oz..
