Being offered for sale is the vintage "HENRY DISSTON & SONS PHILADA U.S.A." (marked at one end, see 2nd pic) CHAIN LINK SAW (WWII military field gear) with original storage wood w/ leather strap (no grips/handles) from circa the mid 20th century (best guess), as seen in the pictures/as described in the title. CONDITION NOTES:

Very Good/VG+ vintage condition with minor -to- moderate overall wear from normal use over the years but NO breaks or repairs. Light layer of rust throughout (except at maker's mark, where we lightly cleaned using wire wheel). Flexible joints are on the stiff side but nothing a quick oiling wouldn't fix (we leave this up to you). Leather strap is on the brittle-side but not terribly. Still has good flexibility and holds strong but is flaking at multiple areas. See pics.

DIMENSIONS & WEIGHT:

Measures approx. 44-1/2" long, overall, when fully expanded and has 5 teeth per inch (equivalent to 4.5 points per inch). When folded around wood, 9-1/2" long x 5-1/2" wide x 1-1/2" thick. Total weight is 1 lb. 8.2 oz..
