Being offered for sale is the HESS VOYAGER TANKER SHIP (no stand, no box - SEE ALL PICTURES & READ CONDITION NOTES BELOW), as seen in the pictures/as described in the title. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES. Being offered for sale AS-FOUND, uncleaned. May require a thorough detailing to bring to its full potential. SATISFACTION GUARANTEED or your money back...no questions asked!
CONDITION NOTES:
Has issues!! The green light (only) does not work (possibly/probably just in need of a replacement bulb) and the on/off lever does not turn the lights off (meaning, once a battery is installed, the lights stay on until it is removed). Both lifeboats are bent with worn/fragile connection points (must be handled with care to prevent further damage). Missing front communications pole, propeller, rear flag and the radar dish top is broken & missing (see green arrows & text in pictures 2, 3, 7 & 8). All labels have some degree of damage. One large HESS logo is nearly complete, with just a chunk missing near bottom-right corner (see 1st pic). The opposite side's logo is more than half gone (see 4th pic). Both of the smaller HESS logos are near complete but also have areas of damage (see pics). All 4 wheels present, roll smooth and spin freely. Aside from all that, there's small/minor scuffs, scratches, stains, dings, dents, discoloration, etc. throughout. No battery included. We are NOT vintage toy experts but it would seem that this is a very good starting point for restoration!?! See pics.
DIMENSIONS & WEIGHT:
Measures approx. 17-5/8" long, overall. Weighs 8.4 oz..
PLEASE NOTE: The inflated shipping cost for this item is to help offset the high price of insuring the package at full purchase price. Please take this into consideration and work it into your offer(s).
