Up for your consideration is a beautiful Red-Amber Quart size Whiskey Flask[Strap Side] from the late 1870's.The 9-7/8" tall flask was made in a crude mold;possibly wooden .It has many wavey bumps,and seed bubbles with embossing that reads: "John Hay,152 & 154 Washington St.,Cor. Liberty St.,N.Y."T is NO SLUG PLATE which is much less common. Possibly part of the same company that manufactured FLASK:G11-48,Coffin & Hay,Hammonton,N.J.
