ROYAL DOULTON Large Toby Mug  ~ John Barleycorn- OLD LAD vintage

This mug is very unique and was manufactured in England by Royal Doulton from 1939-1960. Excellent shape.  No chips or cracks.   The cosmetic condition is clearly shown in the pictures.  Please examine the photos closely.  In English folklore,  John Barleycorn symbolizes not only the harvest, but the products made from it such as  beer and whiskey.  The "old Lad" was designed by C.J. Noke.
