Being offered for sale is the vintage FINGER-JOINTED WOOD BOX/CASE (with cloth & gold-tone steel hardware - really cool latching system) plus ORIGINAL "QUALITY CONTROL" TAG (see 5th pic) by KEUFFEL & ESSER CO. (metal tag also reads "71 5225" and "OPTICS & METROLOGY DIVISION"), from circa the mid 20th century (best guess), as seen in the pictures/as described in the title. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR CONDITION NOTES. Being offered for sale AS-FOUND, uncleaned. May require a thorough detailing to bring to its full potential.

CONDITION NOTES:

Overall, Very Good/VG+ vintage/briefly used condition with just minor overall cosmetic wear throughout and NO major breaks or repairs. THERE ARE HOWEVER, some splits around the middle of the body at all 4 sides (SEE PICTURES). These stress fractures are 99% cosmetic only - box remains rigid & very strong. All 4 hard rubber feet are present and box sits flat with NO wobble. Interior is very clean. Latches and strap are good - function like-new. Hinges are solid. All-in-all, an outstanding example!!
