Being offered for sale is the vintage, nearly antique DOUBLE BIT 'MICHIGAN / CROWN' PATTERN FELLING AXE (with new replacement handle) by PLUMB (marked 32 (with the 2 smaller than the 3 and raised up - see 2nd pic) from circa 1920-mid 20th century (best guess - definitely post-1920, as per company history), as seen in the pictures/as described in the title. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES. Being offered for sale lightly cleaned on wire-wheel (just enough to remove rust and assess pitting - see below for more info) and with replacement handle. May require a thorough detailing to bring to its full potential.

CONDITION NOTES:
Very Good/VG+ vintage condition with minor -to- moderate overall wear throughout but NO breaks or repairs. Lightly wire-wheel cleaned to remove rust, which revealed some areas of minor pitting throughout (see pics). Both blades are more or less smooth and quite sharp. Handle is locked in, nice & tight with ZERO play/wobble. Great double bit ax! Ready to use!! See pics.
