Being offered for sale is the antique, Civil War Era "FARMER'S DAY BOOK", a handwritten log/record/arithmetic ledger titled "ACCOUNT OF PRODUCE SOLD..." at the "JOHN DITMAS" FARM in "FLATBUSH" (see first few pictures for all the above quotes), from 1846 (as dated on 1st page), as seen in the pictures/as described in the title. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES. Being offered for sale AS-FOUND, uncleaned. May require a thorough detailing to bring to its full potential.

CONDITION NOTES:

Rough but not totally destroyed condition. Majority of the pages remain bound. The cover, 1st page and a chunk of a few bound pages are all separated from spine. Again, most pages are bound to the spine but all are fragile - the first handful especially so. MUST BE HANDLED WITH CARE to prevent further damage. Pictures 6 thru 9 are random pages. Pretty much the entire book looks like this. Amazing amount of 1840's calligraphy! See pics.
