1 In stock

Padlocks

ITEM DESCRIPTION:

Being offered for sale is the HARD TO FIND, RARE IRON PADLOCK with NON-WORKING KEY (see CONDITION NOTES below for more info), by unknown manufacturer (2 markings at front of case; one is complete illegible to us (looks like a hallmark/logo) and the other looks it could read "41 PACK" but we absolutely not sure of that - see 4th & 5th pics), from circa the 18th or early 19th century (best guess - possibly older??), as seen in the pictures/as described in the title. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES. Being offered for sale AS-FOUND, uncleaned. May require a thorough detailing to bring to its full potential.

SATISFACTION GUARANTEED or your money back...no questions asked!

CONDITION NOTES:

* Very Good/VG+ antique condition with minor -to- moderate overall cosmetic wear from normal use/exposure to the elements over the years but we see NO breaks or repairs.

* KEY DOES NOT WORK. We pulled from our skeleton key collection and it feels like it wants to work - meaning it fits nicely and you can feel it begin to turn the mechanism but just won't finish and pop the shackle - we have included it as a bonus item, in hopes that maybe you can get it to work.

* Without a working key, we are unable to attest to whether the lock works or not.

* Entire piece features rich patina throughout.

PLEASE REVIEW ALL OF THE PICTURES CAREFULLY

DIMENSIONS & WEIGHT:

Lock measures 4.25" tall x 2-15/16" wide 1" thick (at thickest).

Please see ruler in pictures for size/scale reference. Additional measurements shall be provided upon request.

Total weight is 1 lb. 0.0 oz..
