Being offered for sale is the lot of 2 ORIGINAL ANTIQUE PHOTOGRAPHS of JOHN ROYLE & SONS' (of Patterson, N.J.) first BUILDING / WAREHOUSE / OFFICES / OPERATION HEADQUARTERS (where they first started designing & manufacturing industrial machinery, including "...PHOTO-ENGRAVERS, JACQUARD CARD AND RUBBER TUBING MACHINERY" (as marked on matting, see pics)) and of 4 WELL DRESS, CLEAN CUT BUSINESSMEN / ENGINEERS HARD AT WORK AT THEIR DRAFTING TABLES (marked No. "4981"), from circa the very early 20th century (mixed lot), as seen in the pictures/as described in the title. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES.

CONDITION NOTES:

Both are in Very Good/VG+ antique condition with mostly just minor overall wear. The cardstock backing has moderate -to- severe damage around the edges but the picture itself remains unharmed. See pics.

 

DIMENSIONS & WEIGHT:

Black & white picture measures 8" x 10". The sepia picture is 7-1/2" x 9-1/2", on 9" x 11-1/8" thick cardstock backing. Total weight of lot is 2.0 oz..
