Antique & Vintage Lanterns

ITEM DESCRIPTION:

Being offered for sale is the QUITE RARE (with the original red glass window/lens BUT missing door glass - see pics) antique STAGECOACH LAMP, embossed the "WESTCHESTER TAIL No. 3" by "N.Y. COACH & AUTO LAMP CO.", from circa the mid -to- late 19th century (best guess), as seen in the pictures/as described in the title. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES. Being offered for sale AS-FOUND, uncleaned. May require a thorough detailing to bring to its full potential.

SATISFACTION GUARANTEED or your money back...no questions asked!

CONDITION NOTES:

MISSING GLASS INSERT FROM DOOR. Otherwise, Good/G+ antique condition with moderate overall cosmetic wear but we see NO major breaks or repairs. THE UPPER 'VERTICAL SHAFT' PIECE HAS MULTIPLE SPLITS IN THE METAL (visible in many/most pictures). It remains structurally strong. Don't see any dings or dents...nothing eye-catching whatsoever, at least. Burner is in great shape with what looks like a brand/never used wick (see last 2 pis). Door hinge is solid & closing/locking knob twists nice & tight, like-new. Untested but we'd be shocked if it didn't work. Sits level with NO wobble. Features outstandingly rich, fantastically deep patina throughout. See pics.

DIMENSIONS & WEIGHT:

Measures 9-1/2" tall x 6-1/2" wide (at largest) and 4-5/8" diameter at  base.

Replacement door glass would need to be right around 3-3/4" diameter, give -or- take 1/8". Additional measurements shall be provided upon request.

Total weight is 1 lb. 15.8 oz..
