Being offered for sale is the antique WESTERN ELECTRIC CATHEDRAL-TOP WALL TELEPHONE (with KELLOGG mouthpiece and STROMBERG-CARLSON TELEPHONE MFG. CO. earpiece (see 8th pic)) TYPE 317-H (marked at inside of door, see last pic), from circa 1907 (as per patent date of Apr. 30, 1907 on sticker at inside of door, see last pic), as seen in the pictures/as described in the title. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR CONDITION NOTES. Being offered for sale AS-FOUND, uncleaned. May require a thorough detailing to bring to its full potential. Missing mouthpiece cone (see pics 1,2, 4, 5, 6 & 9). Missing one nail at crank escutcheon (see red arrow in 6th pic). Cord chewed up near earpiece (see red arrow in 3rd pic). Missing nail at bracket between bells, which leaves it hanging crooked (see green arrow in 3rd pic). Earpiece cover chipped (see green arrow in 8th pic). OTHERWISE, looks to be in Good/VG antique condition. Guts appear to be all there and fairly clean but we DID NOT test this phone, are NOT antique telephone experts and are offering it AS-FOUND, AS-IS. May or may not need major restoration and/or replacement parts to bring to full working order. Housing is free of any major breaks or repairs and features superb patina to all materials throughout. See pics.
