Excellent, restored condition. Heavy rust was removed using wire-wheel, exposing severe, deep pitting throughout. Refinished in matte black. Pitting still visible, giving it an awesome textured look. Replacement handle is also a genuine antique and remains structurally solid & strong with NO breaks or repairs. It is firmly & securely attached to axe head and features deep, genuine patina plus many small wormholes throughout, making this piece even more unique! Gorgeous restored old tool!! See pics.
