Steins, Mugs & Tankards

Being offered for sale is the antique GERMAN FIGURAL/CHARACTER BEER STEIN Drunken HUNGOVER CAT Mold #1000 by STEINZEUGWERKE or RHEINHOLD HANKE (we were unable to confirm exact maker but are pretty sure it is one of those), from circa 1868-1921 (depending on who made it but no later than 1921, as that was when a fire destroyed all of their molds), as seen in the pictures/as described in the title. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR CONDITION NOTES. Being offered for sale AS-FOUND, uncleaned. May require a thorough detailing to bring to its full potential. SATISFACTION GUARANTEED or your money back...no questions asked!

Good/Very Good antique condition with moderate -to- severe chips at lid's rim (see red arrows in many of the pictures) and minor overall cosmetic blemishes throughout. Light crazing at a few areas throughout. Very nice shine to original glazing throughout. The lid's connection point is a bit loose (may or may not have been repaired in the past, see 10th pic) but remains attached and usable (though extreme caution is advised when handling it). Visible "GERMANY" and a crisp "1000" incised/stamped at base. See pics.

Measures 8-1/2" tall, overall x 3-7/16" diameter (at base) x 6" wide (including handle). Weighs 1 lb. 15.6 oz..
