CONDITION NOTES:

The axe head is in Good/VG antique condition with moderate overall wear from normal use over the years but NO breaks or repairs. Very minimal rust and just small areas of minor pitting throughout. Blade is nice & smooth and quite sharp. Handle is chewed up at top and head is very loose (approx. 1/4" play/wobble) but remains securely attached and otherwise, it is solid & strong with no breaks or repairs. It looks to be either original or at least very old. A replacement handle would be advised prior to any practical use but as a collector's/display piece, it's perfect as-is! Simply gorgeous, rich patina to both steel & wood. Really, one killer axe! See pics.
