ITEM DESCRIPTION:

Being offered for sale is the antique WOODED CARPET STRETCHER TOOL (with iron/steel spikes, hook and hinge hardware) with original paper label (partial - most is there, see pics) with reads (in part) "IRA P. WARNER'S CELEBRATED CARPET STRETCHER", from circa the mid -to- late 19th or very  early 20th century (best guess), as seen in the pictures/as described in the title. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR CONDITION NOTES. Being offered for sale AS-FOUND, uncleaned. May require parts/repair and/or a thorough detailing to bring to its full potential.

CONDITION NOTES:

Good antique condition with moderate overall wear but we see NO major breaks or repairs. Partial original label (most is there - see pic). All spikes and slight-angled hook are present and solid. Looks like it would be fully functional but probably wouldn't hold up for long with even moderate use (we do not recommend using it and it is being offered as a display/decor/collector's piece only). Outstanding, rich patina throughout. See pics.

Measures 22-1/4" long, overall, when folded. Claw end is 6-1/8" wide.
