Being offered for sale is the antique CAST IRON SLIDING BEAM SCALE (0-80 range) with ORIGINAL HOOK & 8 LB. WEIGHT by unknown maker (SIGNED but illegible - we can make out "...TOWN" and "... .ORK" (most likely a New York manufacturer) - see 2nd pic), from circa the mid -to- late 19th century (best guess), as seen in the pictures/as described in the title. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES. Being offered for sale AS-FOUND, uncleaned. May require a thorough detailing to bring to its full potential.

Good/Very Good antique condition with moderate -to- severe overall wear from normal use and exposure to elements over the years but we see NO breaks or repairs. Rusty & pitted. Superb, rich patina throughout. See pics.
