Being offered for sale is the LOT OF 2 / "MATCHING PAIR" of vintage/antique D-8 DISSTON WOOD SAWS (1-rip saw with 5-1/2 ppi & thumbhole handle PLUS 1-crosscut saw with 11 ppi & skew-back blade (NO thumbhole in handle)), both with 13/16" diameter "DISSTON PHILA" MEDALLIONS, dating them to circa 1917-1940, as seen in the pictures/as described in the title. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES. Being offered for sale as-found, uncleaned. May require a thorough detailing and/or restoration to bring to their full potential.

CONDITION NOTES:

*BOTH ARE IN VERY GOOD/VG+ VINTAGE/ANTIQUE CONDITION.

*BOTH HAVE MINOR -TO- MODERATE OVERALL WEAR (i.e. dings, dents, scuffs, scratches stains, etc.) FROM NORMAL USE OVER THE YEARS BUT WE SEE NO MAJOR BREAKS OR REPAIRS.

*THE CROSSCUT'S TEETH ARE A BIT WORN OVERALL AND LIKELY IN NEED OF A FRESH SHARPENING.

*THE RIP SAW'S TEETH ARE IN GREAT SHAPE AND ARE CURRENTLY VERY SHARP.

*THE CROSSCUT'S BLADE HAS SOME MINOR WAVINESS BUT NOTHING TERRIBLE.

*THE RIPS SAW'S BLADE IS NICE & STRAIGHT - NEARLY, IF NOT PERFECTLY STRAIGHT.

*BOTH HAVE VISIBLE YET PARTIALLY FADED ETCHINGS (SEE PICS).

*BOTH HANDLES ARE SUPER SECURE TO BLADE, HELD BY ALL ORIGINAL LUG NUTS WITH NO PLAY/WOBBLE.
