Very Good/VG+ antique condition with minor -to- moderate overall wear (small dings, dents, scuffs, scratches, stains, etc.) throughout from normal use over the years but NO breaks or repairs. Lightly cleaned using wire-wheel, so virtually zero rust but areas of minor -to- moderate pitting throughout. Handle is solid & strong, firmly attached and features (2) brass/bronze rings/bands (preventing splits/degradation of handle end). Blade is nice & smooth with no visible nicks but is quite dull and would certainly need a fresh sharpening prior to any practical use. Superb patina throughout. Great example of a big fat collectible chisel!! See pics.
