Up for bid is the antique SINGER TREADLE SEWING MACHINE PARTS/PIECES in ORIGINAL OAK WOOD "PUZZLE" BOX from circa the late 19th or very early 20th century (best guess as per marked patent date of 1880), as seen in the pictures/as described in the title. PLEASE SEE "CONDITION DESCRIPTION" ABOVE FOR IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES. Being offered for sale as-found, uncleaned. May require a thorough detailing to bring to its full potential. SATISFACTION GUARANTEED or your money back...no questions asked!
Good/VG vintage condition with minor -to- moderate wear throughout (i.e. scuffs, scratches, stains, dings, dents, etc.) but remains structurally solid & strong. The inner lining is coming free from the wood at areas and has some pretty bad stains. When box is closed, the clip that holds it is a little loose (still holds but given a jolt, it comes free). Superb, rich patina throughout. All parts/pieces included look to be in good condition but we did NOT test any nor are we certain they aren't broken and/or have missing pieces. They should all be considered bonus items. See pics.
Box measures 6-1/2" wide x 3-3/8" square. Please see ruler in pictures for size/scale reference. Additional measurements shall be provided upon request. Total weight is 1 lb. 6.0 oz..
