Being offered for sale is the antique STANLEY NO. 2 SMOOTH PLANE ("hybrid" Type 7, Justus Traut's Patent, 10.21.1884 (Improved Lateral) with MIXED PARTS/PIECES from other, later types, including a Sweetheart (SW) blade - more info regarding all "type" parts/pieces to come as we unravel the mystery of this plane), from circa 1893-1899 (again, this plane appears to be made up of parts/pieces from multiple "types" made at different times, possibly decades apart - more info shall be provided as we confirm it), as seen in the pictures/as described in the title. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES.
