Being offered for sale is the antique UNBRANDED TACK HAMMER with STAPLE/TACK PULLER (not for nails) by unknown maker (partial stamp at one side of head reads "MAY 17-", see 2nd pic), from circa the late 19th or early 20th century (best guess), as seen in the pictures/as described in the title. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES. SATISFACTION GUARANTEED or your money back...no questions asked!

CONDITION NOTES:

Good/Very Good antique condition with minor -to- moderate overall wear from normal use over the years but NO breaks or repairs. There is a large slice in handle running from end to about halfway up (see pics 1, 3 & 4). It is cosmetic only. Handle remains solid & strong and is securely attached to head with the tiniest little wobble (inconsequential but noteworthy nonetheless). Features original or very old black paint with small areas of exposed wood throughout and outstanding, rich patina throughout. Head has been lightly cleaned using wire-wheel as required to find/identify maker's mark(s), so very little rust and virtually no pitting. Weakly stamped, partial maker's mark at one side of head (see 2nd pic). All-in-all, a wonderful example of a unique and hard to find hammer! See pics.

DIMENSIONS & WEIGHT:

Measures 8-3/16" long, overall. Head is 3-13/16" wide, face to puller (when pointed downward). Face is approx. 5/8" diameter (not a perfect circle). Weighs 5.4 oz..
