Being offered for sale is the antique LARGE COPPER FRYING PAN / SKILLET (tinned) with COPPER-RIVETED CAST IRON HANDLE by "E. COOPER & SONS" of "ATLANTIC CITY, N.J." (also marked "6968" or "8969" (depending which way is up) at cast iron handle (see 4th & 5th pics)), from circa the mid -to- late 19th century (best guess), as seen in the pictures/as described in the title. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES. Being offered for sale AS-FOUND, uncleaned. May require a thorough detailing to bring to its full potential.

CONDITION NOTES:

Good/VG antique condition with minor -to- moderate overall cosmetic wear but NO major breaks or repairs. DOES NOT sit flat. Has an approx. 1/8" wobble. Tin worn at interior (continues to flake off). Crisp, clearly visible maker's stamp at underside. All-in-all, a great example of signed antique copper. See pics.

 

DIMENSIONS & WEIGHT:

Measures 22" long, overall. Outer edge of rim is 11-1/4" diameter x 2-1/2" tall. Weighs 4 lbs. 14.0 oz..
