Being offered for sale is the vintage/antique "SPIKE TOMAHAWK" and/or NORLUND "FRONTIERSMAN" (if so, then by Mann Tool Co. - but possibly a reproduction/look-alike/custom or homemade replica - the jury is out...feel free to weigh in via shooting us a message (thanks in advance)) and/or simply a sexy old HATCHET/AXE HEAD (NO HANDLE) with no visible maker's marks, from circa the early -to- mid 20th century (best guess), as seen in the pictures/as described in the title. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES. Being offered for sale as-found, uncleaned. May require a thorough detailing to bring to its full potential.

CONDITION NOTES:

Good/Very Good, recently cleaned vintage/antique condition with minor -to- moderate overall wear (quite minimal pitting and nothing that takes away from its overall aesthetic appeal) but we see NO major breaks or repairs. All three blade edge(s) are rather dull. The spike's edges more so than the hatchet blade but all are in need of a fresh sharpening prior to any practical use. Original/previous handle is clearly missing but the portion within the eye remains (see 3rd pic). See pics.

 

DIMENSIONS & WEIGHT:

Measures 6-3/4" wide, tip -to- edge. Blade edge is 2-1/8" long. Eye opening is a rough oval and measures approx. 3/4" x 9/16". Weighs 9.6 oz..
