Being offered for sale is the antique HAND-HAMMERED COPPER POT/KETTLE/CAULDRON with CAST IRON LIP-BAND & ROTATING HANDLE by unknown maker (no visible maker's mark(s)), from circa the mid -to- late 19th century (best educated guess), as seen in the pictures/as described in the title. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES. Being offered for sale as-found, uncleaned. CONDITION NOTES:

Good/VG antique condition with an old repair (at interior - well done and holding strong - see red arrows in 9th & 10th pics) and minor -to- moderate overall wear throughout (many small dings, dents, scuffs, scratches, stains, etc.) from normal use over the years but otherwise, NO breaks or repairs. Cast iron band secure at/under the folded over copper ring. Handles is solid & strong, like-new. Entire piece features outstanding, rich patina throughout. Lovely old kettle!! See pics.

DIMENSIONS & WEIGHT:

Measures 17" diameter at rim and 14-1/2" diameter at base x 11-1/2" tall, base to rim. Holds approx. 10 liquid gallons. Weighs 9 lbs. 15.0 oz..
