Very Good/VG+ vintage condition with minor -to- moderate overall wear from normal use but remains structurally rigid & strong. The unique, solid brass hinges latching system are all good and fully functional. Original steel springs (used to hold tools in place) are a little stretched/worn but remain reasonably functional. Simply outstanding, rich patina to all materials throughout. Awesome old box!! See pics.
