Being offered for sale is the antique TWIST-HANDLE-ADJUSTABLE NUT WRENCH patented by Benjamin W. Woodward & manufactured by "GLOBE WRENCH CO." (marked at one side of head, see 2nd pic) of Ipswich, MA (though the wrench is marked "SUNAPEE, N.H.", again, see 2nd pic) from circa 1910 (as per patent number 952,223, granted on Mar. 15, 1910), as seen in the pictures/as described in the title. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES. SATISFACTION GUARANTEED or your money back...no questions asked!

CONDITION NOTES:

Good/VG antique condition with minor -to- moderate overall wear (small dings, dents, scuffs, scratches, stains, etc.) throughout from normal use over the years but NO breaks or repairs. MISSING BOTH SET SCREWS at backside (see red arrows in 4th pic). Wrench remains fully functional, with smoothly twisting handle adjustment that holds strong at any/all stopping points along the 1-3/4" range, just without ability to set/lock the jaws in place (surely replacement screws are available...we leave this to you). Lightly cleaned using wire-wheel, so virtually zero rust but revealed minor pitting throughout. All-in-all, a very nice example of a unique and increasingly rare wrench!! See pics.

DIMENSIONS & WEIGHT:

Measures 7-3/4" long. Jaws are 5/8" deep/wide and open 1-3/4" max. Weighs 1 lb. 7.2 oz..

PLEASE NOTE: The inflated shipping cost for this item is to help offset the high price of insuring the package at full purchase price. Please take this into consideration and work it into your offer(s).
