Sheep Shears
Being offered for sale is the antique SHEEP SHEARS by LOGAN-GREGG STERLING HARDWARE CO. of Pittsburgh, P.A., circa the late 19th or early 20th century (best guess...not much info out there on this company but we did find a newspaper advertisement from 1902), as seen in the pictures/as described in the title. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES. SATISFACTION GUARANTEED or your money back...no questions asked!
Very Good/VG+ antique condition with minor -to- moderate overall wear from normal use over the years. Looks like it has been lightly cleaned in the relatively recent past and maybe a clear-coat applied, as it has a bit of a shimmer/shine to the finish. Blades are pretty sharp and spring-action is nice & tight. Fully functional tool. Maker's mark is crisply stamped and clearly visible. See pics.
Measures 12-1/4" long, overall. Blades are 5-1/4" long. Weighs 10.0 oz..
