Being offered for sale is the antique UNBRANDED, BLACKSMITH FORGED IRON "SNOW BALL HAMMER" a.k.a. "SNOW KNOCKER" (used to remove the build-up of snow from the hoof cavity of a horse - this one is missing the original strap, ring or snap (which is a typical feature that would allow for clipping to the harness) at end of handle) by unknown maker (it would be extremely unusual for this type of hammer to be stamped/marked), from circa the early -to- mid 19th century (best guess...possibly older), as seen in the pictures/as described in the title. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES. Being offered for sale AS-FOUND, uncleaned. May require a thorough detailing to bring to its full potential. SATISFACTION GUARANTEED or your money back...no questions asked!

See pics.
