CONDITION NOTES:

Very Good/VG+ antique condition with minor -to- moderate overall wear but NO breaks or repairs. Head has minimal rust and areas of moderate pitting throughout (see pics). Blade edge is a little uneven/wavy toward the bottom corner but is more or less smooth, with just one or two ultra tiny nicks and is very sharp. Spike tip is nice & pointy. Head is firmly attached to handle but has a tiny, approx. 1/32" wobble (we leave the decision to stiffen it up or not for you to decide). Handle may or may not be original but certainly has some age to it...regardless, it is absolutely gorgeous and in outstanding condition. Hard to explain but she just fits & feels so perfect in your hands. Oh and how about them curves & proportions?! Extraordinary & rare axe!! See pics.

DIMENSIONS & WEIGHT:

Measures 25" long, overall. Head is 12-5/8" wide, blade to spike. Blade is 2-7/8" tall, tip -to- tip. Weighs 2 lbs. 11.5 oz..

PLEASE NOTE: The inflated shipping cost for this item is to help offset the high price of insuring the package at full purchase price. Please take this into consideration and work it into your offer(s).
