Being offered for sale is the vintage/antique "SMALL ARMS...12 GA" "WORLD CHAMPION AMMUNITION" "XPERT" AMMO CRATE / BOX (no lid) by WESTERN AMMUNITION COMPANY of East Alton, Illinois, from circa the early -to- mid 20th century (best guess), as seen in the pictures/as described in the title. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES. Being offered for sale AS-FOUND, uncleaned. May require a thorough detailing to bring to its full potential.

CONDITION DESCRIPTION:

Good/Very Good vintage condition with superbly rich patina throughout and moderate -to- severe overall wear throughout. Piece of bottom missing and a couple nails sticking out (see pictures) but crate remains structurally rigid & fairly strong (don't go storing anvils or gold bricks in it and you should be fine). Graphics are quite nice at one side but rather faded at the other (again, see pics). Original paper tagged at side. All-in-all, a very nice example with fantastic eye-appeal! See pics.

Measures 14-1/2" wide x 9-3/8" deep x 8-3/4" tall. Weighs 2 lbs. 14.0 oz..
