Photo Enlarger

Being offered for sale is the vintage/antique "THE WINSTEAD PHOTO PRINTING MACHINE" (Model 1, No. 124) by GEO. M. WINSTEAD of Long Beach, California, circa the early -to- mid 20th century (best guess), as seen in the pictures/as described in the title. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR CONDITION NOTES. Being offered for sale AS-FOUND, uncleaned. May require a thorough detailing to bring to its full potential. SATISFACTION GUARANTEED or your money back...no questions asked!

Very Good/VG+ condition with minor -to- moderate overall cosmetic wear. The bottom/vertically moving thin brass sheet/plate has a sizable rip (see red arrow in 4th pic) and a few other small rips, bends, dings, dents, etc.. The large rip DOES hinder the movement of the sheet but with some manipulation using your finger(s), it DOES move vertically, as intended. The right-side/horizontally moving brass sheet is in much better shape but also has some imperfections (see pics). This sheet moves horizontally by turning knob, without having to help it along like the bottom sheet. At interior, there are (5) light bulb sockets (see 11th pic) but only the center one currently works (1 bulb seems to be sufficient but if you end up needing the other (4) bulbs, it would probably be an easy fix for someone with electrical wiring experience, as we believe they aren't working simply due to a bad relay). Everything else looks to be in great used condition and we see no other breaks or repairs. Superb, rich patina to all materials throughout. All-in-all, a nice example of a very hard to find light-box/photo enlarger! See pics.

Measures 15" wide x 17-1/2" deep x 19-3/4" tallTotal weight is 25 lbs. 7.5 oz..
