Being offered for sale is the antique STANLEY POCKET LEVEL NO. 41, TYPE 4 (cast iron with ornate, thin brass face-plate + brass screw (for attaching to square)) plus a BONUS STORAGE CASE (not original (looks like an old razor or machinist's tool case) but fits level perfectly), from circa 1896-1913 (level is presumed to have been manufactured until the patent ran out in 1913, as per info found at 'oldtooluser.com/typestudy/stanNo41PocketLevelTypeStudy.htm'), as seen in the pictures/as described in the title. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES. Being offered for sale AS-FOUND, uncleaned. May require a thorough detailing to bring to its full potential. SATISFACTION GUARANTEED or your money back...no questions asked!
Very Good vintage condition with minor -to- moderate overall wear (small scuffs, scratches, stains, dings, dents, bends, etc.) but NO breaks or repairs. Fully functional & accurate tool. Original japanning remains. Outstanding patina throughout. Case also has minor -to- moderate overall wear but remains structurally rigid & strong. It should be considered an extra/bonus item. See pics.
