Being offered for sale is the vintage/almost antique UNDERWOOD UNIVERSAL PORTABLE TYPEWRITER in ORIGINAL HARD-CASE, from circa 1937 (as per serial number "888822" & info foud at http://www.oocities.org/heartland/cottage/5405/serial.htm#table_7), as seen in the pictures/as described in the title. Overall, Good/Very Good vintage condition with just minor -to- moderate cosmetic blemishes throughout. About half of the keys function fine but the other half get stuck (see red arrows in 9th pic for all that get stuck). NO ribbon(s) included and possibly missing ribbon top covers. Otherwise, looks to be complete but we are NOT typewriter experts, so may require other replacement parts/pieces and/or servicing to bring to full working order. Original hard-case is quite worn but remains structurally rigid & strong. Handle, hinges & latching system are all good. NO key included. See pics.
