Vintage PLUMB 4-2 ROCKAWAY PATTERN AXE (Head Only) HEAVY, 4.5 lb. SINGLE BIT AX!
Very Good/VG+ vintage condition with minor -to- moderate wear from normal use over the years. Recently cleaned using wire wheel, so there's no rust. Minor -to- moderate pitting throughout. Blade edge has a few small nicks but remains mostly smooth and quite sharp. Maker's mark is clearly visible. All-in-all, a nice example for practical use and/or as a collectible/display piece.
Measures 7-7/8" wide, edge to butt and 5" tall at blade's edge. Weighs 4 lbs. 7.5 oz..
