Very Good/VG+ vintage condition with minor -to- moderate overall cosmetic wear but remains structurally rigid & strong. The solid brass hinges are in great shape. Iron latch needs a small padlock in order to function as intended but once you get one, it will hold the loop latch in place and work effectively. Nice patina to all materials throughout. All-in-all, an lovely old trinket chest with fantastic eye-appeal!! See pics.
